The LSDegue annual meeting will take place on 13th october 2026. It will be the opportunity for all LSDengue collaborators and ARBOGEN ones to share their latest results. This event will be preceded by the LSDengue Comex meeting that will occur on 22nd September 2026.
The Arbo-France scientific symposium will take place on February 2nd and 3rd 2027 at the Institut Pasteur in Paris. This event will bring the Arbo-France network around key themes focused on public health and arboviruses impact. World Dengue Day is organized every June 15th to enhance public awareness of dengue. The celebration is rooted in ASEAN’s initiative to raise dengue awareness, and presents an avenue for supporting research and enhancing mosquito control globally.
Approximately 5.6 billion people, more than half of the world’s population, are at risk of dengue, with an estimated 100–400 million infections occurring each year. (According to WHO)

March marked the first ARBOGEN meeting.The progress made on ARBOGEN and its platform was shared by collaborators.
This meeting saw the announcement of the ARBOGEN and LSDengue meeting that will take place in Paris in June 2026.
The LSDengue executive committee (Comex) meeting took place on January 15. Comex members attended and shared progress on LSDengue work packages, on ARBOGEN project and discussed next steps.
The meeting was an opportunity to announce an in-person LSDengue and ARBOGEN event, scheduled to be held in Paris in June 2026.
LSDengue annual meeting was held on October 14. Around 30 partners attended the meeting to review the project’s progress and discuss future perspectives.

New website to improve data sharing
The LSDengue-ARBOGEN kickoff meeting was held on October 22nd and 23rd at the Institut Pasteur in Paris.
With the shared goal of providing a strong foundation for the preparedness and control of emerging viruses – particularly arboviruses – collaborators from both the Overseas French territories and Metropolitan France had the opportunity to meet and present the objectives of each work package.
This event also enabled participants to strengthen collaboration methods and optimize the structuring of this innovative network.
